In time, I'm sure the baby boy will vote to keep the squash instead of squishing it out of his mouth. Stinker...he was leaning over the edge of the highchair and watching the squash fall to the floor. I had quite a mess to clean up when he was finished! Rather, when I was finished watching him make a mess. And I know the squash was good becasue it came straight from the garden, to the steamer, to the food chopper. Maybe he'd like it better fried....He had his round of shots today, and so his appetite wasn't very strong. Probably a poor day to try a new food. Aaaah, we all survived.
Sam and Ben are at church camp. When two kids leave, it gets quiet around here. They return Thursday, but not before sis leaves for her Canada mission trip. Today was better than Christmas for Maddie. She doesn't see her brothers for two and half weeks! Secretly, she already misses them. I can see it in her eyes. : )
Also, I found I don't know how to cook in small quantities. The boys are gone, but I cooked supper as if they were here to eat. Guess lunch tomorrow is fixed already!
