It's been awhile....but everything is PEACHY

It has been a few months since I've posted - ALREADY!

We've been busy watching Jeremiah roll over with ease and travel the living room by rolling. He's recently started on rice ceral and today for the first time; peaches! We bought a box of yummy peaches from Sam's and I came home to make the kitchen a mess while I mushed the peaches in the food processor. His faces were priceless. Can you agree? He is our Mr. Drama King; giving Ben a run for his talents! I love this last picture....makes me just wanna kiss those cheeks right up!

Let's see what else has happened -

Ben celebrated his 10 birthday! He's a double digit now and very proud to reach this milestone.

Jack and I celebrated our third wedding anniversary. We had a special evening out at a fancy restaurant. They had all the fine linens and the waiter even had a "crumber" - sweeping away our bread crumbs off the table. And here I am, hillbilly Mandy, "can I see that thing?" He looked at me almost comically and than began to explain while bowing with his little towel thing over his forearm what the function of the crumber was. He was a great guy, not too full of himself.

Sadie graduated from Rockhurst College! Gooooooo, Sadie! We're very proud of her hard earned efforts to end in such a great way for her.

Maddie went to church youth camp, T.H.E.E. (The Heaven and Earth Experience) Camp and had a simply wonderful time. She has talked about nothing else but her new friends and new experiences. I've heard from several "sources" that she was a joy. My response with a big grin, "try living with her!" She is soon leaving us for 10 days to go on a mission trip to Ontario, Canada with the youth group. This too gives her much anticipation and excitement. None of her close friends are attending and so she's having to step up and be more outgoing to make friends. As always, she has risen to the challenge before her and has a new, expanded circle of friends. She's such a social butterfly in disguise. (wonder what she'll post in reply to that comment, hee!)

Kids are finishing up school. We finish this Friday, July 4. And we are celebrating with fireworks, let me tell ya! I'm not sure who is more excited them, or me!! We'll start back up on August 25. I've been busy trying to get as much done as I possibly can to prepare for the coming year, that way I too can enjoy summer.

The veggie garden is doing fairly well. Tomatoes look promising and salmonella free. Can't wait to bite into those juicy babies. Cucumber plants are finally taking off. The canatlope plants are blooming all over! Anxious to find little fruits on those sweet things soon. Our fruit trees survived winter and are bushing out nicely. Could begin producing as soon next year some yummilious fruit. Jack is foaming at the mouth for fresh off the tree fruit. And oh, I can smell the pies now! The flower gardens are doing well. I sure love to spend time among the flower seeing all the changes of the plants.

Mom and Jim are doing well. Their blog site is: jandlcurtis.blogspot.com and what a hoot to read their experiences! We're able to talk on the computer via Skype.com - fabulous little bit of techonology for those that have long distance family and friends. And it is FREE! Amazing really. I've sent the information to Mika, my Japanese sister in hopes that she'll get the download soon too. Mika spent her senior year of high school with me during my senior year of high school. She lived with my family and truly did become a lifelong sister to me. Love that sweet girl!

I didn't mean to post a book, here. Been too long since I've updated. Sorry about that!
